World Leprosy Day

January 29, 2017

Leprosy is a disease surrounded by fear and myths. We have, no doubt, heard of Jesus touching and healing the Lepers.

The Leprosy Mission Canada is a Christian organization, caring for people who are cast aside because of disease. The Laetitia Celebrations Committee will be hosting a Bazaar on the weekend of February 4 and 5.

All proceeds will go towards building an Accessible Washroom and Lift. Further details regarding the event will be forthcoming. This might be a good time to do some early spring cleaning and donate your items for the event. Please, no clothes or shoes. Donations can be dropped off during regular office hours or they can be left in the parish hall foyer, after any Mass.

Your offering envelopes for next year are still available in the Parish Hall. Please pick them up as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support!

55+ Group
The 55+ group will be getting together for a meeting and refreshments on Thursday, January 19th at 9:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.

All the young at heart are invited!

Catechism Continues!
A reminder to children who attend Public or Private Schools and also children who are unbaptized and who are preparing for First Communion, that the next Catechism session takes place in the parish hall on Saturday, January 21st.

We ask parents to drop off their children to the parish Hall promptly by 3:00 p.m. (Hall entrance is off of Westmount Ave.) Our catechists will be working with the children until just before 5 p.m. We ask that you pick up your child about 10 minutes before 5:00 p.m. and we invite you to take them up to the 5:00 p.m. Mass!
